Your cabinets are some of the most touched surfaces in your home.  So, it’s no surprise that they wind up with some wear and tear over time.  We’ll help you figure out what you can do to get them looking like new again by finding a finish that will meet the needs of your home and daily routine.

If you’re tired of the way your cabinets look, you don’t have to pay to have new ones installed. You can save money and give your kitchen or bathroom a face lift by having your cabinets refinished instead. However, cabinets are almost always factory finished and require special primers and paints to ensure a durable finish. This project also requires a lot of work and craftsmanship, so it’s best to hire the experienced Arclight Painting cabinet professionals. With us, you can rest assured that the job will be done with skill and precision.

There are several steps for cabinet refinishing:

  • Paint Choice –  your team will know how to ensure the right adhesion for the finish you choose.

  • Scheduling – typically it takes anywhere between a couple of days to a week, during which you won’t be able to use your kitchen or bathroom.

  • Disassembly – all hardware, doors and drawers need to be removed and labeled.

  • Masking and Preparation – the surrounding floors, walls, ceilings, fixtures and cabinet interiors all need to be meticulously protected.

  • Spraying – cabinets can be painted in place, with the doors/drawers sprayed in your garage, or they can be taken off-site and finished in our shop for the highest quality finish.

  • Reassembly – your Arclight Painting cabinet professionals know exactly how to replace all hardware.

  • Touch-ups – when refinishing is complete, you will most likely need to re-paint the walls next to the cabinetry.
